Road Work - Walnut Drive Entrance

The board has voted to proceed with having the necessary road work done on the entrance from Harrah Rd at Walnut Drive to where Walnut Drive intersects with Winding Creek. This road work is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, September 13th, 2023, weather permitting. This entrance will be closed to through traffic. Please use alternate entrances for the duration of this project. An update on the estimated completion date will be provided as possible.

New Traffic Signs

On April 23, 2023, the Board voted to make the intersection of Acorn Ln. and Pecan Creek Dr. a three-way stop for safety issues that were brought to our attention. The Stop Signs are now up. Please respect the traffic signs for the safety of the community. Additional signs are in the process of being replaced.

Road Grading

I was in formed at our board meeting today that the road grader will be out tomorrow to work on the roads. If there are bricks or other debris in the roadway that may cause that area of road to be skipped please remove it before he arrives. It is my understanding he will begin work on Rolling Oak, but it may change depending on needs. Jon Greeson will be coordinating with him to have our more severe areas addressed like where the postal service is no longer willing to drive right away.
Following this maintenance please do not hesitate to let us know if there are areas of concern.

February 12, 2023, Pecan Creek POA held a board meeting located at the Pecan Valley Baptist church where several new board members were elected different roles.  Meeting minutes are published for review.  
Road Grading

A.T. grade began grading roads on February 22nd.  Gravel may be laid depending in the need.  Grading will continue until completed.  Thank you for your patience. 
 
March 4, 2023, A.T. Grading completed grading 8 miles of roads at $4,800.00. Along with the grading, 146.17 Tons of gravel costing $4,385.10 was spread along Medows Lake Circle and Pecan Creek Drive—rock and labor totaling $9,185.10.
